About Susan

In 2003, Susan Alexander began her stand-up comedy career in San Francisco hosting a popular live weekly Friday and Saturday Night Showcases in downtown San Francisco at the San Francisco Comedy Club. In 2005 to present, Susan hosts and produces 5 Funny Females a national touring stand-up comedy show with a line-up of the most talented up and coming female comedians in over 10 US cities to sold-out audiences. Rooftop Comedy featured 5 Funny Females San Francisco highlight clips from live taping in October 2008 and February 2009. 5 Funny Females Live at The Purple Onion DVD filmed in San Francisco on February 2010 is set to release Spring 2010. Susan is also the host of Singles Who Mingle, the first-ever live event that offers singles a mix of stand-up comedy and match making dating game. Susan was a semi-finalist in the Friars Club: So You Think You Can Roast? contest , where she roasted George Takei at the New York City Friars Club in August 2008. She also filmed a live Comedy Time Network show on March 2010 and is the co-host of 'The Denial Show' which launched in April 2010 in New York City. Susan is now based in New York City and performs stand-up comedy across the country.
